Ankerside Shopping Centre takes pride in its local community and annually sponsors the Bandstand situated on the floral terrace in the Castle Grounds. Several brass band concerts take place in this area throughout the year.

Ankerside Shopping Centre work closely with Tamworth Council, providing sponsorship for local community events over the Summer and Christmas periods.

The Midlands Music Festival held annually in the Castle pleasure grounds brings thousands of tourists to Tamworth each year. Ankerside Shopping Centre, work closely with the organisers to assist in providing an outlet for the local community to purchase tickets and learn more about the event.
