Family Environment

Ankerside does not permit:

  • Groups of youths congregating in the malls or on the patio overlooking the Castle Grounds
  • Unsociable behaviour, including swearing, shouting or any behaviour that is detrimental to maintaining a family environment
  • Dogs, other than guide dogs, skateboarding or bicycles
  • The wearing of clothing that may be offensive or which carries inflammatory wording.
  • Shirts and shoes not being worn, especially on the malls and within restaurants and cafes

Ankerside’s aim is to provide a safe, friendly environment which allows everyone to enjoy their visit.

Comfort & Health

  • It is against the law to smoke anywhere within Ankerside Shopping Centre
  • Leafleting, canvassing, filming or photography without the express permission of the Centre Manager
  • Busking or unauthorised sale of goods on the malls or car park
  • Inappropriate use of the customer lifts
  • The consumption of alcohol anywhere within the shopping centre
