APOCA Parking – Team Leader
We are recruiting for a Team Leader to join our team at Ankerside. The Team Leader will be responsible for managing a team to ensure smooth, safe and profitable operation on day to day basis, ensuring all Client targets are met through use of current legislation, company systems and procedures. Assisting the Contact Manager in leading, managing and delivering contract performance for all the car park management, revenue generation and revenue protection services as required by our contract with our clients.
What you’ll do:
Plan and direct the operations of the APCOA personnel to ensure compliance with standards and operating procedures and the requirements of the contract.
Resolve all operational problems within the scope of the contract and prepare responses within established timeframes to all service complaints and contractual issues raised
Correct areas of underperformance through reviewing and implementing new processes and procedures where appropriate.
Assist with the implementation of one-to-one assessments for all staff, recruit, discipline and reward staff as appropriate and respond to grievances
Encourage and stimulate aspirational staff.
‘Cascade’ information to all members of staff and maintain good communications throughout the contract.
Complete weekly and monthly reports and forecast on the financial performance of the contract and implement corrective actions to address adverse financial performance.
Protect, maintain and strengthen the reputation of APCOA.
Keep abreast of legislative and other changes that may affect the operation of this contract.
If onsite, ensure that all necessary maintenance is carried out, either by self or team
Assist with the development of the contract’s budget
Undertake any other duties consistent with the nature and grade of the post as necessary or as requested.
What you’ll bring:
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Ability to communicate vocally and in written form with staff, managers and clients.
Numerate and literate and experienced with Microsoft Office tools.
Proven team management ability.
Experience of revenue and cost budgets and delivering KPI performance.
Strong interpersonal skills.
A reliable and responsible attitude to work.
Able to build, develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients, suppliers and internal support services.
Can work under pressure when challenged due to problems arising
