Ankerside is whipping up a treat at Stay & Play
Ankerside Shopping Centre is prepping for its first Stay & Play activity of the year, which will have a culinary theme where youngsters can make a tasty teddy bear snack.
From 9.30am to 11.30am on Thursday 31 January, Ankerside’s youngest visitors are invited to get creative by decorating toast with delicious additions to transform it into a teddy bear. Event-goers will also have a bubble machine and bouncy castle to enjoy, with free tea and coffee available to parents and caregivers.
The activity will be taking place at its temporary location in the unit next to Peacocks. “Our Stay & Play programme was a big hit with children and their families last year, so we hope its success continues throughout 2019,” said Mark Burbridge, centre manager at Ankerside Shopping Centre.
“Little ones will have great fun making their teddy bear toast and the variety of toppings might offer the chance for them to try something new. We’re looking forward to seeing all the different creations and hope our visitors have a great morning of fun with us.”
