Ankerside Shopping Centre, in partnership with Tamworth Borough Council, has launched the Community Lettings Scheme, providing an affordable opportunity for charities, community groups, social enterprises and eligible local start-up businesses to establish a presence in the heart of Tamworth Town Centre.
What is the Community Lettings Scheme?
The Community Lettings Scheme has been created to support local organisations, entrepreneurs and community groups by making retail space at Ankerside Shopping Centre more accessible and affordable.
The scheme helps remove financial barriers for high-social-value organisations, start-up businesses and third sector partners that may otherwise struggle to secure premises in a prime town centre location. Through flexible lease arrangements and financial support, the scheme encourages a diverse mix of tenants that contribute to the vibrancy of the shopping centre and the wider community.
