Come and Discover Art in the Heart of Tamworth 
As part of this year’s Athelstan 1100 celebrations, St Editha’s Church, Tamworth Castle and the Tamworth and District Civic Society have teamed up to host a special exhibition at Ankerside Shopping Centre.
A celebration of creativity and craftsmanship, the pop-up art gallery will feature a curated exhibition of paintings, textiles, ceramics, sculptures and artefacts – many of which have never been on public display before – including a special showcase of heritage items from the Castle Archives Collection.
Open from 20th – 26th July 2026, the gallery is free to enter and will be open daily between 9am -3pm, located alongside Warren James in the centre.
