The Indie Weekend Market takes place on the 2nd Saturday and Sunday of every month at Ankerside Shopping Centre with additional dates throughout November and December. The market is open between 10am – 5pm with an exciting mix of stalls from local independent traders and small businesses taking over our malls in this fabulous pop-up event.
From mouth-watering food and handmade crafts, to unique hobbyist finds and local charities, it’s the perfect place to uncover one-of-a-kind treats and thoughtful gifts while supporting your local community.
What’s more – the market is all under cover, so no matter the weather, it will always be a fantastic trip. Park up, visit the market, indulge in some retail therapy, grab a bite to eat, all under one roof.

Taking place on the 2nd Saturday and Sunday of every month at Ankerside Shopping Centre, the Indie Weekend Market is run by a local volunteer team who are with you every step of the way. From your initial enquiry, they will send across information on their markets and provide you with a sign-up form to get you started. With many years of experience, they can provide guidance to first time sellers and will provide tables and chairs for the event.
Who are All Communities Matter?
ACM CIC is a community interest company run by volunteers who raise funds for local charities and community groups by hosting events and markets across Tamworth, Nuneaton, and Hinckley.
The ACM team is committed to supporting local communities and emerging small businesses, helping to foster growth and connections throughout the area. Through their trader community, they nurture development, encourage collaboration, and build lasting friendships within a strong support network.
Their events are designed to be warm and welcoming, providing spaces where people feel comfortable coming together. By bringing the community out and connecting individuals, they aim to reduce isolation and combat loneliness.
All Communities Matter also supports the community year-round through a variety of thoughtful initiatives, including Smiley Bouquets and Togetherness Teas. They collaborate with local groups and charities to amplify their impact and make regular donations, such as their annual Easter Egg giveaway.
