On Saturday 31st August, Ankerside Shopping Centre transformed into a vibrant hub of fun, discovery, and adventure as the Animal Antics event brought a cuddly and educational experience to visitors of all ages.
The mall was buzzing with excitement as an array of life-like animal puppets and baby creatures, handled by their charismatic Animal Rangers, roamed the centre, capturing the imaginations of children and adults alike.
The event offered a unique opportunity for guests to get up close and personal with these incredibly realistic animal puppets. However the animals weren’t just for show with each puppet being brought to life through engaging stories and fun facts shared by the knowledgeable handlers.
“It was great seeing shoppers interacting with these adorable creatures,” said Mark Burbridge, Ankerside Centre Manager. Mark continued, “Animal Antics blended fun with education as guests were told the story of each species and kept entertained with fascinating facts. It turned an ordinary summer’s day into a really wild adventure!”
Visitors flocked to take part in the wildly popular safari selfies, capturing their day with some truly adorable “wildlife” companions. The rotating mix of animals ensured that every hour brought something new, keeping visitors engaged and eager to return for more.
